I am currently a Ph.D candidate at MIT, working with Professor Kevin Chen at Soft and Micro Robotics Lab (SMRL). My research interest is soft actuators, soft sensors and their applications. Prior to that, I received my master degree in mechanical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in 2020. During the two years in Pittsburgh, I was working with Professor Carmel Majidi at Soft Machines Lab (SML), focusing on an liquid-metal curvature sensor for soft robot applications. I received my B.S. in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), mentored by Professor Hesheng Wang and Professor Weidong Chen.
